What a view!

Made a tandem paramotoring flight in Bentota on a cloudy Sunday. We were apprehensive as it poured with rain just before, but the instructors were very professional and took off when the conditions were optimum. The instructors are Army Commandos and Ex Air force Personnel. The safety equipment and precautions were great.

The view of the sea, beach, vegetation and hotels were amazing.

Best Outdoor Activity in Srilanka!

I flew with SkyClub in December after waiting almost a week for the weather to clear up. (be prepared to hang around anywhere from 1-4 hours for weather conditions to be optimum for flight). The pilots that assisted me, Anura and Mangala were extremely accommodating and these guys are experts with many hundreds of hours of flying and parachute jumps(ex airforce paratroopers). Skyclub offers a 12 min and 20 min flight experience. I went for the 20 min which was about 9,8000lkr. They let you bring your own recording devices ( i brought along the Gopro with a monopod). The takeoff starts off from the beach and then you reach approximately 500 feet and cover a distance of about 7km. The views are simply stunning and you get to do some low level fly passes over the beach! No doubt one of the best outdoor activities I have tried in Srilanka!

BEST THING EVER!!!

Sky Club Sri Lanka offers a view of Sri Lanka from a Paramotor!! It was incredible flying above the ocean and seeing Bentota 1000 or more feet off the ground. I would describe it as ethereal. Gentle breeze cascading around me. I felt like I was in heaven. EVERYONE must go and do this when you visit here!

After a month in Sri Lanka, we capped off our trip with a ParaMotor ride. A short trip down the highway from the Galle Face Hotel in Colombo, we were up in the air, and then back to the hotel for lunch.
It’s beautiful! Fun! Safe!
The pilots know their stuff and are certified, the equipment is top notch, and there is even local air control to assure safety.
But the best part is the view of this beautiful place from above.
Owners Suren and Natalie are experienced and great communicators.
Afterwards (or before) swim at one of the island’s great beaches.

So good I did twice

While sitting on our veranda at the Vivanta Bentota (separate review) we watched the paramotors fly past and I eventually decided to give it ago. What a wise decision. It was exhilarating and I enjoyed it so much I went back a couple of days later. Not only that but my wife, who is not a briliant flyer also gave it a go and loved it. Dont bother with the short flight go straight for the longer one. You will see the beach from a totally new perspective. Have posted two videos on U-tube, Paramotor Bentota 2017 and Bentota Paramotor have a look but turn the volume down as there is a lot of wind noise (you get a helmet). Great crew, great experience

Amazing

It was such an amazing experience. I was frightened in the beginning but once we flew high in the sky and saw the amazing view i forgot my fear and started taking pictures.
It is safe, and the staff are professional and nice.

Professional

The instructors were very professional. They even borrowed their sunglass as i forgot to bring mine. They were friendly and German was the boss who is an ex pilot. The only reason i gave 4 stars is cause the price is expensive and it was short.

It is one of the best experiences in Sri Lanka (must do). They were professional, very careful, and they care about weather status and safety. The place was quiet just us were there. The beach was very nice. The view from the sky is best thing there.

Good service provider for Paramotoring

We did paramotoring and enjoyed the trip.It was for around 10 minutes in the air.
It is around 2 km from AVANI Bentota,bit difficult to find .
They will send a car to pick you up.
Charges are $50per trip which is the normal rate in Bentota.

They are professionals. Very safe. Amazing experience. You feel like on top of the world. You get the best views of bentota while flying. must give it a try.

This is absolutely for who love adventures, friendly pilots and great experience ever , price is reasonable , if your booked earlier they will pick you from hotel ( free ) or you can reach the place by your vehicle

Our son tried it out. T They were responsible and refused to take our son in the morning as it was windy and sent out a team member to try it out before they started taking out customers, as a result there was an hours wait as there were others who had wanted to go as well and it was on a first come first serve basis.
It is 15k for locals and our son really enjoyed himself !

From the initial inquiry to the end of the flight, it was very proffessional. Thank you Natalie for answering my many questions � and the staff and pilots for the awesome experience. Will definitely recommend to others and want to do it again soon.

We had an amazing experience with Bentota Sky Club Paramotoring. Despite not having prior plans, we visited their place and were welcomed warmly. The staff, composed of former Sri Lanka Air Force and Army Commandos, are incredibly friendly and professional, with years of parachuting experience, making us feel completely safe about the flight. This is a must-try experience! They are very organized and ensure everything is done perfectly and safely. Before the flight, we were provided with life jackets and helmets for our safety.
