Well done to the Shercock athletes who competed in the North West Games in Athlone on the 28th of Dec.
Mark Kearns won a silver and bronze in the U16 1500m and 800m . Sarah Kate Liggan won bronze in the U12 LJ and also competed in the 60m . Dylan O’Reilly was just outside the medals in both the U12 60m and 600m when he finished 4th in both. Aoibheann Mulligan competed in the U18 200m. Eimear Byrne was 5th in U12 600m and Cadhla Liggan competed in the U10 60m. The athletes all gained valuable experience for the Ulster Indoor Championship in March.
