A small group of Shercock athletes competed at the National Spring Throws Competition in Tullamore last weekend.
Thomas Williams got his season off to a flying start when he threw 56.39m in the 5kg hammer throw category.
Aaron Smyth competed in the 700g javelin category and threw 24.43m. Grace Gormley competed in both the discus and hammer producing a new pb of 32.81m in the hammer and threw 24,87m in the discus. The athletes will now focus on improving their performances as the season progresses. Well done to everybody.
