Our

Philosophy
Our Philosophy is that Athletics is for all.

To be become a member, one must be at least 8 years of age in the year
they wish to join. For example, if a child is turning 8 in November 2023, they
can join the club and compete from 1st January 2023
Our coaches and committee are all voluntary, and do not receive any
payment for their involvement with the club. All comply with the Garda
Vetting requirements. We have adopted the Athletics Ireland Manual with
regards the Code of Conduct for Coaches / Parents and Young Athletes.
The aims and objectives of the club are to offer coaching and competitive
opportunities in Athletics and to promote activity and well-being within the
local community through the sport of Athletics. We also strive to ensure a
duty of care to all members of the club and to provide all its services in a
way that is fair to everyone, and to ensure that all present and future
members receive fair and equal treatment.
